Welcome to the 2021 NAB AFL Auskick program, where it's all about having fun, getting your hands on the footy and constantly being involved in exciting activities. The program has been designed across three sequential levels to be delivered over three (or more) years of participation.

Auskick is a program designed to teach the basic skills of Australian rules football (AFL) to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12. A nationwide program in Australia, it has increased participation in the sport amongst children, and is employed in many countries across the world.

Auskickers run, jump, kick, laugh, express themselves and create their own special moments that just happens to be footy. Auskick is a program designed to teach the basic skills of Australian rules football (AFL) to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12. It's designed to ensure every child gets an opportunity to learn new skills and play games. It's designed to be fun and inclusive for all children! The AFL Auskick program has centres that operate all over the country. Children will learn the fundamental motor skills vital for future physical activity and sport participation as well as learning how to interact with other children as part of a team in small group activities.

In weekly sessions, kids will explore the world of AFL, building football skills and playing in a safe and super fun setting. Expect small groups, heaps of games and parent/guardian involvement.

Our program is aimed at having fun whilst learning the basics of the game in a safe environment. We hope that everyone who leaves the program has a love for the game, can kick and handball to their mates, mark and bounce the ball, and have a basic appreciation of game play. We mostly follow the session plans as found on the Auskick website. The NAB AFL Auskick program has been designed to let kids learn through play. During weekly sessions kids build fundamental motor skills and learn what it means to play as part of a team. Though session plans vary week-to-week, most will incorporate elements of structured skill development along with free play opportunities. NAB Auskick is the AFL’s key introductory program for primary-aged children and their families.

And dont forget the program is open to both boys and girls! Auskick is a program designed to teach the basic skills of Australian rules football (AFL) to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12. It has been a hugely successful program in Victoria since the mid 80’s which means just about every current AFL & AFLW star was exactly where your child is now! The Auskick program is open for the following age groups: Under 6 – Under 7 – Under 8. It runs on sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:30.
